Your deposit secures your place in the Buckeye DIY Mini Barn production schedule and starts the design and order-finalization process.

Six Base Models. Multiple Construction Levels.

Start with one of six Buckeye Mini Barn designs: Modern, Farmhouse, Classic, Gambrel, Studio or Sport. Then configure the size, foundation, wall system, exterior, roof, doors, windows and upgrades around how you plan to use the building.

2x4 Stud-Framed Wall Systems

Essential - 2x4 Stud Frame + Wall Girts: Our most basic construction method. The stud-framed walls receive horizontal 2x4 wall girts for compatible exterior metal siding. There is no continuous wall sheathing in this package.

Standard - 2x4 Stud Frame + 7/16 OSB: Continuous OSB structural wall sheathing over the 2x4 stud frame with the applicable weather-resistive barrier and exterior finish assembly.

Premium Deluxe - 2x4 Stud Frame + ZIP System: ZIP System structural wall sheathing provides an integrated water-resistive barrier. Seams and openings are completed using compatible ZIP System tape/flashing products as required by the wall assembly.

Premium Deluxe Insulated - 2x4 Stud Frame + ZIP System R-Sheathing: Adds continuous exterior insulation to the ZIP wall system. Manufacturer-rated panel options include R-3.6, R-6.6, R-9.6 and R-12.6. The exact insulated ZIP panel, fastening and wall details are confirmed during designer review.

Any Buckeye Mini Barn using ZIP System or insulated ZIP R-sheathing is classified as a Premium Deluxe package.

Roof Construction

Roof framing is selected according to the Mini Barn design and project requirements. Certain designs use individually hand-cut and labeled roof rafters; other designs use a specified truss system. Final roof framing is confirmed during project review.

Buckeye Mini Barn Kits are made to order and prepared by skilled craftsmen. Depending on the selected package, structural components are measured, hand cut, organized and labeled, or wall sections are professionally pre-framed into manageable numbered assemblies for faster on-site construction.

Kit Preparation Options

Loose Precut & Labeled: Structural framing components are cut to the selected building, organized and labeled for on-site framing. Preparation labor starts at $800 and increases with building size and complexity.

Pre-Framed Fast Assembly: Wall sections are professionally pre-framed by skilled craftsmen into manageable numbered sections for faster assembly on site. Fabrication labor starts at $1,500 and increases with size and complexity.

Selected siding, roofing and other applicable finish materials ship with the kit and are installed on site.

What Happens After You Reserve

1. A Buckeye designer reviews your configuration and intended use.
2. We confirm the barn style, dimensions, foundation/floor system, wall package, roof framing, siding, roofing, colors, doors, windows and other options.
3. We prepare your final price using the approved scope and applicable material pricing when the order is finalized.
4. Your $2,000 deposit is shown as a $2,000 credit against the final confirmed purchase price. It is not charged again.
5. Additional payments are made for materials and fabrication/labor according to the finalized payment schedule.
6. Any final required balance is paid before the completed kit is released for delivery.

Estimated Pricing Notice

Any price generated by the Mini Barn configurator is an estimate and is not a guaranteed final price. Material markets, selected wall system, insulated ZIP level, project specifications, quantities, delivery requirements and other options can change the final purchase price.

Delivery

Free delivery within 100 miles of the Wheeling, WV area, subject to final order, delivery-access and unloading review. Delivery outside this area is quoted based on location and logistics.

Important Project Information

Wall assembly, roof framing, structural sheathing, ZIP System installation, rafter/truss requirements, foundation requirements and other structural details can vary by design, project location, design loads and local requirements. Final specifications are confirmed during project review. Engineering, permitting, excavation, concrete/site work, utilities and on-site assembly are not included unless specifically stated in the final confirmed order.
