Configure your preferred model, size and options online and submit the $2,000 production reservation deposit. Your Buckeye designer then reviews the project with you, confirms the final specifications and prepares current-market final pricing. Your $2,000 deposit is applied as a credit to the final purchase price. After the required material and fabrication payments, your made-to-order kit moves through production. Any final required balance is paid before release for delivery.

After your production reservation is received, a Buckeye designer will reach out to begin the project review. We will confirm the model, dimensions, wall system, roof construction, foundation or floor system, siding, roofing, colors, doors, windows and selected options before the order is finalized.

Your project is tracked by its configuration and order information as it moves through design confirmation, final pricing, materials, fabrication and delivery preparation. Your Buckeye contact will provide project updates during the process. We are also developing a more streamlined customer-facing status experience as this program grows.

Warranty coverage will be stated in your finalized order documents and can vary by component. Manufacturer warranties may apply to qualifying roofing, siding, sheathing, windows, doors and other manufactured products. Buckeye workmanship or fabrication coverage, exclusions and claim procedures will be identified in the final agreement. Ask your designer for the applicable written warranty before finalizing your order.

Yes. Your kit includes the applicable building plans and assembly instructions for your confirmed configuration. Components are organized and labeled to correspond with the building package so you can identify where the pieces belong during assembly.

On-site assembly may be available depending on your project location, schedule and scope. It is not automatically included with the DIY kit price. Ask your designer for an on-site assembly quote and availability for your project.

The buyer is responsible for preparing and clearing the building site before delivery. The site should be level, free of debris and obstructions, and ready for the selected foundation or floor system. The buyer must also provide suitable access for the delivery vehicle. A truck and trailer must be able to safely reach the delivery/unloading area. Gates, driveways, overhead wires, tree limbs, soft ground, steep grades, tight turns and other access restrictions should be addressed before delivery. If normal truck-and-trailer access is not available, contact Buckeye before finalizing the order so delivery requirements can be reviewed.

Production time depends on the selected model, size, construction package, material availability, customization and current production schedule. Your production reservation secures your place in the schedule. After the designer confirms your specifications and order requirements, Buckeye will provide the applicable production timing for your kit.

We design the pre-framed system around manageable sections rather than shipping full-length walls. Wall panels are manufactured at a maximum of approximately 4 feet wide and connect to their corresponding panels on site. The system is intended so two people can handle and assemble the sections. Depending on wall height, openings, sheathing and selected materials, some individual 4-foot wall sections may be manageable by one person, but two-person lifting is the recommended approach for safer handling.

Pre-framed wall sections are numbered and correspond to the building plans and assembly instructions. Adjacent sections are positioned, aligned and connected on site according to the supplied assembly details, creating the complete wall from a series of manageable modules.
